Strapless springen

Strapless Jumping Kitesurfing

    Hi Tobias,

Sorry, My German is too bad to reply in Deutsch.

The trick that helped me a lot for strapless jumping and to gain height, is to turn directly after launching the bottom of your board into the wind. By doing this, the wind pushes your board against your feet. Just before landing you turn back the board upwind with your feet (mostly your front foot). Sometimes the board looses before landing, but still by doing this I could land some 3 to 4m high jumps. The impact on the board is (quite normal) very high and I expect to break anytime soon my DIY hollow board (reinforced with epoxy & glass fibre & EPS foam inside in the middle & back (foot zones). This is why I would like to experiment with your flax fibre technique.

    kind regards,
    Philippe
